The majority of the pieces presented in this book are a part of the Sara M. Vance Waddell Collection, and were accumulated thanks to the generosity of both artists and committed activists who contributed to this project with the intention of extending the ideals of the Women’s March far beyond January 21, 2017.
A special thanks to those whose forethought and consideration allowed us to gather works that were found discarded in the streets, to extend their voice as a testimony to the ongoing injustices of this administration.
If you know the author of one of the unattributed works, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. This project is a living document. Though archival in nature, Still They Persist continues to fluctuate, accepting new works, looking for additional venues, and responding in kind to the current political climate.
Thank you for your support. Together, we will continue to persist!
